Lyons View Manufacturing was founded in 2008 and offers manufacturing, electrical assembly, packaging, and project coordination. Our company is best know for its work with the City of Chicago’s Blocks Program, Chicago Smart Lighting Program, and ComED’s Suburban Street Light Program.

About Lyons View Manufacturing
Lyons View Manufacturing & Supply Co. (LV) was founded in 2008 after The Will Group was awarded the opportunity to assemble lighting fixtures used in the City of Chicago’s Blocks Program. We combined new lighting technology, and key opportunities with this program and transformed residential streets, municipalities, roadways, commercial, private and public properties from the amber glow of high-pressure sodium to the more visually true “white light”, or LED light. In addition to lighting technology, the Lyons View team manufactures and assembles electrical material such as electrical capacitor banks and solar panels.
Over the past 5 years, Lyons View has put men and women back to work in the communities we operate in by offering jobs in assembly. Chicago’s conversion to energy efficient street lighting added eight new members to the Lyons View team, almost all of whom had struggled to find work during trying economic times.

City of Chicago Smart Street Light Program
Chicago is undertaking one of the largest street lighting modernization programs in the country. The city is providing and installing better quality, more reliable outdoor lighting through LED fixtures on streets, alleys, and viaducts – increasing safety, reducing energy costs, and improving the environment.
The city-wide lighting initiative will replace over 270,000 existing outdated High Pressure Sodium (HPS) light fixtures with new energy-efficient LED lights and create a modern lighting management system to streamline maintenance and repairs. Lyons View Manufacturing is proud to partner with the City of Chicago on these efforts.
